I have a skittish 3/4 poodle golden doodle. His hair grows, and then, in like a week time frame, gets all matted up... (despite my brushing and currying!). That's when these wonderfully patient groomers at Petable do all the ridiculous work to get him back into shape. They do extra washes and arduous pre-cutting (not sure of the process) but he comes out without any cuts or abrasions, and very happy, not traumatized (as I'd feared). Been there three times, and he wags as we walk in now. I think these people are amazing, and so understanding.read more

Our Lucy is a 5yo Cavalier; she has never had a trim. We took her to Petable Expressions to get her ready for a beach... vacation. The girls did a wonderful job. Lucy looked like a puppy Cavalier King Charles Spaniel again. Lucy doesn't care for the sand on the beach, but if I could get her to walk the sand would definitely not be a problem in her hair. I will trust Petable Expressions with my baby girl in the future.read more

My cat Kai has been going there a few times and one day when I brought him in from booking an appointment on a Friday... telling Amanda I get off at 1:30 and will be there 20 min after and which they informed me they were closing at 4pm. I got there at 1:50 and Amanda claimed I was late and that they were closing at 2:30 which no one informed me or else I wouldn’t have came to begin with because I had to also pick up my kids from school after dropping my cat off. So Amanda already was tense and on edge to begin with saying they were going to have to rush him and that I have to wait until 2:30, I said ok I’ll wait go ahead and approximately about 2 min after taking Kai to the back she said Kai bit her and she refused to groom him that day. So I book another appointment on a Saturday and still got denied and once again she was so rude to me and said so what, do you want him to attack me all over so no I will not take him. She showed such poor customer service to a former customer and I hated that I wasted my time to book with her and if they would have told me she didn’t want to groom Kai I wouldn’t never showed our faces there again. Kai is such a well behave cat but her anger towards him that day really scared him and just like any other animal or person he reacted. I hate that myself and Kai had to experience that.read more

Best grooming salon I have ever used. I have always had terriers (two Schnauzers, & one each Wire Fox Terrier and... Welsh Terrier) and know that not many groomers are successful in capturing the spirit & personality of the Schnauzer. This salon has exceeded my expectations every grooming visit. Check in/out is quick and easy and I appreciate the appointment text reminder so date is on my calendar. Staff is friendly and efficient. Rate this salon a “5 Star” and highly recommend for grooming your fur baby.read more

This was my first time using them and I could not possibly be happier. They did a wonderful job with my Australian... Shepherd, who is just more than a year old. The groomer, Amanda, was warm and my boy took to her right away. She explained what they were going to do and asked me about my preferences and boy did they deliver. The pricing is competitive and the service is superlative. Even the owner, who happened to be there that day, was welcoming and helpful. Will absolutely be going back.read more

I took my Yorkie, Tucker, here to be groomed yesterday. Tucker has a thick, cottony coat, which can be hard to... maintain, especially since he can't stay off our pool cover which has about 2" of water on it right now. (Note that he is NEVER left unsupervised when he is in the backyard where the pool is located). Long story to say, evidently his tummy fur was matted from this, which I knew he had tangles, but didn't perceive mats. I went over with Amanda what I wanted for his cut and let her know that we were having photos made on Sunday which is why I was pretty specific. When I picked him up, he was shaved down to the skin. I called Amanda to let her know that I wasn't happy and she told me in loud, no uncertain terms, repeatedly, how she can't stand pet parents who only care about their dog's looks, to the point that they will have them hurt and tortured to get that look. She said Tucker was crying and biting when they tried to brush him. Fair enough. When I said that had they called me and told me what was going on, I would have just. picked him up, paid for his bath and brought him back on Monday to be shaved. She claimed that they had tried to call me and I didn't answer, which briefly took the wind out of my sails a bit. However, when I checked my call log from yesterday, I had one call from Pettables at 4:14 which I did answer and it was to come and pick him up. I would have been fine after being yelled at to just hear a half hearted "sorry you are upset", but all I got from Amanda was the strong inference that I was willing to let my dog be tortured and bite people just so he would be cute for a photo, which is insult to injury! I gave them 2 stars anyway, because prior to this, I had had good experiences with them. I do respect and appreciate that they don't want to hurt an animal., as well My complaint is not being contacted before they shaved him, being lied to about this, being yelled at by the owner and being accused of being a shallow, cruel pet owner, which is absolutely not true.read more

They butchered my moms dog and rather than call my mom to discuss shaving him they just went ahead and did it. When my... mom called to say she was unhappy Amanda the owner decided that it was okay to yell at my mother and lie that they had called to ask, none of our 4 dogs will ever return due to Amanda’s behavior.read more

Said our dog was ready to be picked up. We get there and pay for the service $50. Then they tell me they couldn’t groom... him because he was too hard to groom and aggressive. They mentioned we might want to sedate him next time. They ended up giving him a bath instead. We had him groomed at 5 other locations and yes we heard one other time about possible sedation but never were they unable to groom him. Seems well organized digitally but they should have communicated by phone that they were unable to groom him.read more

My husband took our labradoodle to get groomed here today. She looks amazing!! Her coat is the perfect length and is so... soft. We know she feels better too (considering she’s a doodle and her coat was sooo long). The staff at Petable Expressions went above and beyond my expectations!read more

Everyone here is very nice and welcoming. They left my little cockatoo looking like an adorable teddy bear. The shampoo... they use leaves a nice subtle fragrance, and all around, they really take care of your pet.read more
